How
- Open the unit (Admin → Inventory → click a unit).
- Scroll to the Photos section.
- Drag photos onto the dropzone or click Add photo. JPEG / PNG / WebP all work; we re-encode to JPEG.
- The first photo is the cover — used in inventory grids and OG images. Reorder by dragging.
Tips
- Use 1200×800 or larger. We don't downscale; smaller photos look pixelated on retina screens.
- Aim for 5-8 photos per unit. Front, rear, both sides, interior, dashboard, any extras.
- Photos load directly from object storage — no impact on page load past the first one.
What happens behind the scenes
Each upload goes through a presigned URL straight to your dealership's bucket — your server never holds the bytes. Photos are public-read (intentionally — Google and Facebook need to see them for SEO and OG previews) but URLs include a hash so you can rotate them by re-uploading.
